Terracotta Warriors: a half-day tour with hotel transfers

Indicative hotel pickup is 08:55; this entry uses the 09:00 morning package. The same product returns within its Xi'an hotel-transfer area. Indicative hotel drop-off is 13:30.

Time and walking: The half-day window is 08:55–13:30; this differs from a 2-hour gate-side guided visit and excludes a separate Lishan Garden visit. The product allows about 2.5 hours at the Terracotta Army; adding Lishan Garden requires extra time. Expect standing, walking and waiting for sightlines around the pits; this version excludes extra movement around Lishan Garden. The free shuttle between the two sites is a ticket entitlement. This half-day tour does not promise a Lishan Garden visit or a fully seated pit visit.

Tickets and timing: Foreign visitors also need an online real-name reservation. Ticket, person and ID must match; bring your original passport. Enter in your reserved time slot; the museum asks visitors to wait 30 minutes beforehand. Reservations are capacity-limited; availability for a specific date was not checked. Peak-season ticket checks, March 16–November 15: 08:30–17:00; off-season until 16:30. Major-holiday arrangements are announced separately. Adult admission is CNY 120, including the Terracotta Army, Lishan Garden and shuttle between them.

Who it suits: Suits travellers who want to experience the army's scale and appreciate details and archaeological context. Less suitable if dense crowds seriously affect your enjoyment or you expect a quiet, unobstructed view. Avoid leaving after Pit 1 alone. Even weekday mornings can have dense tour groups; early arrival does not guarantee quiet. The army's real scale and individual details provide an experience photographs cannot replace. Hanyangling: miniature figures from the Han tombs: Both are hotel-return half days; Hanyangling takes about 4 hours and suits a stronger interest in Han daily-life objects and relative quiet.
