Terms of service

Last updated:

1. Who provides the service

These Terms cover your use of MyChinaTrip. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to MyChinaTrip; “you” refers to the person using the service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

For help with the service, a purchase or a complaint, contact support@mychinatrip.app. These Terms apply to MyChinaTrip's website and trip assistance service. The Privacy notice explains how personal information is handled; the Refund policy forms part of the purchase terms.

2. What MyChinaTrip provides

MyChinaTrip helps you understand and improve a China trip using the information you provide, maintained research and, where available, current lookups. The service includes AI-generated answers, saved trip content and the features included in your selected service package.

An answer or suggested change is not an external reservation. Review proposals before confirming them in your Trip. Booking, entry and payment decisions remain with the relevant provider or authority. We do not issue visas, sell the underlying attraction or transport tickets through a Trip Pass, or guarantee admission, payment acceptance or availability.

Our guidance can help you identify what to check. It does not replace advice from a qualified professional where your situation requires it. AI-generated answers can contain errors; we do not promise that every answer has been reviewed by a human specialist.

3. Accounts and your material

Use an email address you control and keep access to sign-in links secure. Provide information that is accurate enough for the work you request, and update your Trip when relevant dates or arrangements change.

Only submit material you are entitled to use and share for this purpose, including information about travelling companions. You retain your rights in your material. You allow us and our service providers to process it as needed to provide the requested service, as described in the Privacy notice. This is not permission for us to publish your private itinerary as a testimonial.

Do not use the service to access another person's account, interfere with its operation or submit unlawful material. If use threatens the service or other users, we may restrict that use while we investigate. Any effect on paid services must be assessed under the Refund policy and applicable law.

You must be at least 18, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms. Purchases must be made by an adult authorised to use the payment method. The service is not directed at children under 13. A parent or guardian may include a child's relevant travel needs when arranging a family trip.

4. Trip Pass, personal help and service scope

Trip Pass is US$9.90, paid once, not a subscription. Your purchased help is shared across all your trips, with no fixed expiry. Buying the same Trip Pass again adds more help to the same account; it does not create a separate per-trip balance or extend a service clock.

Enough for the whole trip — from first plan to last-minute change. Shared across all your trips. No expiry.

You can try 2 full personal answers, free, using the same answer quality as purchased help. This trial belongs to your identity and account; signing in or switching trips does not start another trial. Your saved Trip, manual editing, confirmation, Undo, Kit, basic date reminders and exports remain free.

A request may bring together related questions, cities and supported materials. Necessary clarification, additional material, explanation of the result and retries to finish the same request are included. A separate new task is new personal help, even in an existing conversation. Supported files, images and video do not carry a separate service charge; the input's supported formats and technical size limits still apply.

No usable result, no charge. A result must fulfill the requested work and be saved so you can retrieve it. A clarification question, failure or incomplete answer does not count as a completed result. If you agree to a smaller scope and that scope is completed, finishing or explaining the same result remains included. If the result is not useful, use the result's return action. Restoring help is separate from a payment refund.

Fair use keeps it working for everyone. If you ever approach the limit, we'll tell you before anything changes. Account shows service status in Usage details. If included personal help is used up, your draft and saved content remain available; the free operations above continue.

Basic date reminders are free and do not stop because purchased help is used up or refunded. They follow your chosen time, current trip and booking dates, source completion or cancellation, and delivery preferences. Automatic Watch is a separate, bounded service included with eligible Trip Pass purchases. It follows the supported checks you explicitly enable for each Trip and ends when that Trip ends or you turn it off; using up personal help does not itself stop it. Watch covers supported booking, weather and change information matched to your saved trip. It does not monitor every possible disruption or guarantee notice before every change.

5. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Waffo. Review the checkout's final amount, payment details and applicable payment terms before authorising payment. Public prices are in US dollars. Any taxes, currency conversion or payment-method charges must be shown or explained by the applicable checkout or payment provider; we do not quote an unverified all-inclusive local-currency price.

Within 7 days of purchase, a purchase whose paid help has not been used is eligible for a full refund. After that, we assess the unused portion and any failure to deliver the service. See the Refund policy for how to request a refund and how returning help differs.

Your checkout and receipt identify the payment transaction. These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable cancellation or remedy rights. A refund applies to the purchase concerned. Other purchases remain available; a partial refund or pending refund does not itself end automatic Watch. If all qualifying purchases are fully refunded, the automatic Watch service from those purchases ends. Saved trips, manual editing, confirmation, Undo, Kit, basic date reminders and exports remain free. Retained conversations and material remain available until you delete them or request account deletion; there is no refund-specific deletion countdown.

6. Third-party services and content

Links to booking platforms, venues and Perks take you to separate providers. Their booking, availability, cancellation and privacy terms apply to those services. A Perk is provided by the named provider, not by MyChinaTrip unless explicitly stated.

Our editorial content and software remain protected by their applicable intellectual-property rights. You may keep your personal travel outputs for use on your trip and share them with your travelling companions. Third-party material remains subject to its owner's rights.

7. Ending use, problems and changes

You may stop using the service at any time. Export options and the current account-deletion request process are described in the Privacy notice. Signing out or clearing your browser is not an account-deletion request. Account deletion and payment refunds are separate requests.

If something goes wrong, tell us what happened and which Trip or purchase it concerns. We will assess the service issue and any remedy available under these Terms, our Refund policy and applicable law. We are not responsible for the independent acts of airlines, hotels, venues or other providers, or losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for our own conduct where the law requires it.

We will date updates to these Terms and explain material changes. Changes to future prices do not, by themselves, rewrite an existing purchase's agreed terms. Please first contact support@mychinatrip.app to seek a practical resolution of a dispute. Applicable law determines your rights and the competent courts; these Terms do not require you to waive mandatory protections or access to courts available to consumers in their usual country of residence.
