Guqin Recital by Wu Huaichen

Hear the guqin as the subject of a seated recital, with Wu Huaichen’s announced programme ranging from Wuye Ti and Shanju Yin to Canghai Longyin and contemporary pieces. Give the quieter changes of sound time instead of expecting the force of a large orchestra. This suits someone curious about Chinese instrumental music and willing to listen closely. A brief introduction to the guqin before the concert can make its gestures easier to follow. The previously announced guest withdrawals remain relevant to your choice.
