The programme covers participating hotels, attractions and shops. Eligible visitors hold a foreign passport or a Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan travel permit. The organiser asks for a positive, original Sanya post on overseas social media with #GoChinaInSanya, followed by document and post checks.
The organiser names Sanya Joy City and cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex among the participating businesses. If either is already on your route, ask its Passport Friendly service counter for that location’s actual benefit and terms before posting or paying. Bring your travel document and show the required post for checking. The organiser’s merchant-enrolment QR code is for businesses joining the scheme, not for visitors claiming a coupon. A passport alone does not complete the process.
The programme page lists July–December 2026, while its visitor poster says July 2026–July 2027. Confirm the dates and conditions of the benefit you want directly with the business.
