Beijing
4 nights · Dongsi / Dengshikou
A central base for the palace day and a simple return after the Wall.
Beijing · 4 nightsThe palace, the Wall and the blue roofs. Three full sightseeing days, with arrival and departure on either side.
Start with Tiananmen and the Forbidden City, then look back over the palace roofs from Jingshan.
Book the Forbidden City first, then arrange the other days around it. Keep the Palace and the Wall on different days; choose Mutianyu with a direct shuttle or car.
Give the Wall a whole day. Finish your third sightseeing day in Qianmen, with four nights so arrival and departure do not eat into the plan.

Red gateways, wide courtyards, one long walk through the palace.
The Palace Museum (Forbidden City) ›At the top of Jingshan, the palace roofs spread out below you.
Jingshan Park ›One watchtower, then another, with the ridge running ahead.
Mutianyu Great Wall ›
Blue roofs above you, a morning walk beneath the trees.

Check in and recover first. These three sightseeing days start tomorrow; keep today free for your actual arrival.
Fit this day to your confirmed Palace ticket. Allow for the south-side approach and security checks before spending extra time in the Square. Add Jingshan after the Palace if your group still has energy; keep the evening free.
This is a full Great Wall day, including travel and the return to Beijing. The morning entry is the start of the outing, not a half-day promise. Leave afternoon and evening uncommitted; never combine it with the palace.
Take a break after the Temple of Heaven. Qianmen is the evening plan; the linked Quanjude branch is a roast-duck option there, not a compulsory meal.
Leave today for breakfast, packing and your actual departure connection.
Use the calendar to check holidays and typical weather. Published sessions and opening days depend on your exact dates.
