Getting there and back: Product 6139P98 starts in Guilin and cruises down the Li River to Yangshuo. The same product explicitly returns by car to a Guilin hotel after Yangshuo/West Street sightseeing.
Time and walking: The full cruise-out/car-back tour 6139P98 takes about 8 hours. A 2025 author reported about 3.5 hours aboard; this is not a guaranteed sailing duration on your date. There is walking after disembarking. One visitor reported at least 500 metres and stairs, plus a walk towards Yangshuo town. Reports describe stairs for boarding/disembarking and at the pier exit; boat-specific accessibility was not verified. You can sit during the cruise; deck and pier movement are additional, so this is not a walking-free day.
Tickets and timing: A 2025 author advised arranging tickets early on arrival in peak season; this is their experience, without a live availability check.
Who it suits: Suits travellers who value unfolding karst scenery and want to devote a full day to the river. Less suitable if you want complete quiet, a small boat close to the water, or dislike long cruises. One seller reportedly provided a boat below the booked star category; visitors also report transfer-bus sales pitches and crowded deck viewpoints. Karst peaks, villages and fields appear continuously along the river, evoking a landscape painting for visitors. Longji's Dazhai terraces by cable car: Both take a full day from Guilin: the Li River is cruise-out/car-back; the Dazhai reference product takes 9 hours, with source-listed vehicle legs of 2.5 and 2 hours plus walking. This compares day use, not physical effort.
