Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra: An Epic of Heroes

Hear a new clarinet concerto placed between Cherubini and Shostakovich. Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra’s Epic of Heroes programme announces Michele Mangani’s Third Clarinet Concerto as a world premiere, alongside the Anacréon Overture and the Zoya Suite. The mixture gives you a useful choice if discovering an unfamiliar work appeals as much as hearing established repertoire. Listen for the clarinet’s individual voice before the orchestral suite changes the scale. Make the concert the main event of the evening.
