Tianmenshan National Forest Park 天门山国家森林公园
Tianmen Mountain is organized by one immense natural arch and the steep terrain around it. Approaching the opening makes rock, sky and human scale meet in a single frame, while the mountain’s position separates it clearly from Wulingyuan’s pillar landscapes. From 13 October 2026, take C route via Tianmen Cave Express cableway and the upper seven-section escalators, both ways. The long city cableway is closed for reconstruction, with no announced reopening date; the city lower-station shuttle to the mountain gate continues. The standard C-route ticket excludes the separate lower escalator uphill; some retailer bundles add it.
