Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon: beyond the glass bridge

Continue from the glass bridge into riverside scenery and a valley walk, with extra activities to choose along the way.

Getting there and back: Minibus pickup at agreed city/Wulingyuan points; remote Forest Park gate areas are excluded. The city-departure drive takes about 1.5 hours; guests staying nearby depart 1 hour later. This version starts around 08:00. Minibus return to your hotel within the product's transfer area. The timeline lists about 1.5 hours for the return. Indicative finish is 13:30, not an exact promise; segment totals differ.

Time and walking: Product reference: 08:00–13:30. A September visitor was picked up before 08:00 and returned at 13:00; this is not a fixed five-hour guarantee for everyone. Glass bridge: 1 hour; canyon: 1.5 hours, as product segment references. Walk the glass bridge and valley river path; lift, slide and boat sections do not replace all walking. Choose 5 of 7 activities, including lift, slide and boat options; the whole visit is not seated.

Tickets and timing: Bring the valid ID used to book; this product lists passports. The reviewed ten-person English group starts at US$75.76 per person including 5 of 7 activities; bungee jumping costs extra.

Who it suits: Suits bridge thrills and canyon-river scenery without another full day among mountain peaks. Not every activity suits everyone. The product limits zipline weight to 30–90 kg, with a lift alternative. Tianmen Mountain bought separately in a review is not included. The value extends beyond the glass bridge; recent visitors particularly enjoyed valley-river views and optional slides/activities. Both are roughly half days: compare Furong's afternoon/evening version for old-town lights if the glass bridge does not appeal. Times and pickup areas differ; neither guarantees free Wulingyuan pickup in every version.
